The “Maranges” appellation is located south of Santenay in the southernmost part of the Côte de Beaune. Domaine Chavy-Chouet cultivates a beautiful plot at the bottom of the appellation's slopes, with a southwest exposure called “Les Meurées.” Aged for 10 months in barrels.
The initial nose opens with white flowers, acacia honey, and flint. The wine develops beautifully in the glass, with noble tertiary aroma. On the palate, the body reveals a beautiful smoothness and a formidable persistence of linden and marzipan.
